Security in RFID-Enabled Supply Chain

Central Concerns and Questions

Adopting RFID technology is an emerging trend in supply chain management as it enables product information to be collected, tracked, shared, and managed in a real time manner. However, the RFID technology has also triggered significant security concerns as industry espionage may eavesdrop on wireless RFID communications and launch active attacks.

Emerging Ideas and Initiatives

To address the security threats in RFID-enabled supply chain, we define a set of security requirements, propose a suit of security solutions, and prove that our solutions satisfy the security requirements in RFID-enabled supply chain management.
