Learning Outcomes
 

The SMU School of Information Systems is committed to designing curricula and delivering educational experiences that are soundly based on the principles of learning outcomes.

The school's BSc (IS Management) programme is acknowledged as a global innovator and leader in the educational community for its comprehensive creation and implementation of a learning outcomes framework. Background on the learning outcomes framework for our Bachelor's Programme is given here.

Our more recent MITB (Financial Services) programme is also designed and delivered within a learning outcomes framework. The high level learning outcomes for this masters programme are shown below. The matrix indicates which of the ten learning outcomes are reinforced within each of the courses within the curriculum.
