The solid foundation which our students establish over their course of study is built with the help of :

• Unified Banking Process Framework (UBPF)
• Unified Service Sector Process Framework (USSPF)

The UBPF was developed jointly by the SMU-School of Information Systems (SIS) and banking and technology experts from the industry. It provides a systematic way of understanding and analysing linkages across banking products, enabling processes, technology solutions and management supervision, and is at the heart of our curriculum. On the other hand, the USSPF provides a systematic way of understanding and analysing linkages across key processes, operations, data, technology solutions and management supervision. Our courses were initially designed, and subsequently redesigned to take full advantage of it.
