Fast-Track Programmes

Fast-Track Programmes allow promising SIS undergraduates to pursue a Bachelor and Master degrees within a shorter period of time. SIS offers the following tracks:

SMU BSc (IS Management) & MITB Programme
In addition to the BSc (IS Management), selected SIS undergraduates can obtain the Master of IT in Business (Financial Services) or Master of IT in Business (Service Sector Analytics) degree concurrently. The MITB (FS) track aims to train technology and operations professionals for assuming IT leadership positions in the Financial Services sector. The MITB (SSA) track aims to train a new breed of business analytics professional who can leverage on data and decision analytics to support customers and operations related decisions in the Service Sectors.
SMU - Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh, USA)
A fast-track programme under the National Infocomm Scholarship which allows SIS undergraduate students to graduate within four to four and half years with both a BSc (IS Management) degree from SMU and a Master's degree in IT from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA.
SMU - Carnegie Mellon Heinz College (Adelaide, Australia)
A fast-track programme which allows SIS undergraduate students to graduate within three and half to four years with both a BSc (IS Management) degree from SMU and a Master's degree in IT or in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon Heinz College in Adelaide, Australia.
