SIS Industry Partnerships

Partnership with Microsoft

Microsoft appreciates the unique way in which our SIS students bring together business thinking, business smarts and business-oriented IT solutions which drive a company's performance. They also appreciate the possibilities of our rather special relationship with industry, ranging from our close ties with the most senior executives, all the way down to our network of relationships with experts and professionals who do the every day work.

To leverage these special SIS capabilities, Microsoft is working closely with us to make sure our students will know how to creatively use state-of-the-art solutions for improving business collaboration. Collaboration and information sharing are the very essence of what makes any organisation work.

Going forward, all SIS students will get experience in creating and using collaboration solutions through our new course in Enterprise Web Solutions (EWS). Students can choose to deepen their experience with business collaboration tools by taking the SIS course in Global Software Project Management, and by pursuing other SIS experiences. Microsoft is partnering with us to enrich the experience of these courses, and to help us create a cadre of students who are innovators in leveraging collaboration solutions for business advantage.
