The
Internship Opportunities : (Duties & Responsibilities)
InStep
interns work on diverse live projects, ranging from application
development to business consulting, in practices that include
Corporate Planning, Education & Research, Enterprise Solutions
and Software Engineering & Technology Labs. These are projects
that represent and impact the Infosys core practices. Interns have
been part of various groups that have worked on high-end projects.
Some of the interns have even authored papers on their work at
Infosys and their papers have been accepted by internationally

Dayasindhu, PhD is a Senior Research Associate with the Software
Engineering and Technology Labs at Infosys. His research focus is on
the changing role of the IT organization in a firm, emerging models
in IT and business process outsourcing, and managing tacit
knowledge. He is now working with a Fortune 500 client on increasing
effectiveness of its IT organization. Dayasindhu has prior
experience as Manager Business Strategy at a core technology and
design services company. He has a PhD from the Indian Institute of
Management Bangalore and a Masters in Physics from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Madras.
Dayasindhu presented a paper on
the Indian Remote Sensing Program at the Managing Emerging
Technologies in Asia conference at Singapore Management University.
He has worked with Prof Desai Narasimhalu (SMU) on the Information
Security Maturity Model. Dayasindhu also frequently brainstorms with
Prof Ted Tschang (SMU) on different aspects of IT services industry.
He has guest lectured in the Wharton School, Indian Institute of
Management Bangalore, and the National University
Singapore.
