Hello to IS/OM members, SIS students majoring in Operations Management and faculty members specializing in the same area.

We are organizing a visit to YCH Distripark and Y3 Technologies (consultancy arm of YCH). This trip will bring us to visit the different warehouses within the distripark, to understand the complex business processes and operations within a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company. We will be able to see the huge ASRS system, the inbound and outbound operations and the bonded warehouse. We will also be shown the IT technologies that are employed to manage these complex operations.

Come and join us. This trip is free and is limited to the first 20 participants who sign up. So, what are you waiting for, sign up now! Closing date for signing up will be 30th November 2006. Please provide your NRIC or FIN number when you sign up.

1215 Meet at SMU-SIS Lobby
1230 Bus will leave SIS lobby to YCH
1300 Bus will reach YCH and will bring us around YCH
1500 Bus will leave YCH for Y3
1530 Bus will reach Y3
1630 Bus will leave Y3 for SMU
1700 Bus will reach SMU
