Here are some information about Technopreneurship Study Mission (TSM) which is offered in AY2011, Term 2.

TSM (IS427) Course Overview:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the challenges and success factors of starting high-tech companies

  • Immersive experience in a country which has a large number of high-tech companies

  • Learn about the differences in business environment and culture between Singapore and the trip destination, in particular in terms of creating an environment conducive for high-tech start-ups

  • Gain experience in pitching an idea

  • Expand the potential for students' personal network by facilitating the pursuit of internship in the companies visited or other companies in the trip destination

Enrolment Requirements:

  • Students who are interested to enrol in any of the sections in TSM will have to go through a short interview with the Faculty.

  • Enrolment priority will be given to those students from the ABT-Technopreneurship track.

  • The second level of priority will be given to those students who are willing and able to leverage internship opportunities.

  • The next level of priority will be given to those students from the LKCSB entrepreneurship track.

  • Upon successful acceptance, students will be enrolled backend. An e$10 will be deducted. Students are to ensure that there is sufficient e$ in their account before the deduction takes place.
