Enrichment Course for Freshmen 11-15 Aug 2009 The enrichment course team is running Sun SL110 (Introduction to the Java Programming Language) specially for the incoming SIS freshmen. Enrichment courses are optional, but this course is recommended for students who have never done Java programming before. For more information about enrichment courses, please refer to www.sis.smu.edu.sg/enrichment. |

Exemption Tests Students with prior strong programming background will automatically be exempted from IS Software Foundations course (IS200). You will be be notified about the auto-exemption results via email by end July. For those who are not exempted automatically, there are TWO more chances! The exemption tests will be conducted on: 3rd August (before BOSS 1 bidding) OR 17th August (after the Enrichment course, first day of school). Details on the registration will be furnished by end July. |
