Singapore Management University's School of Information Systems educates students to design and create IT solutions to solve business problems in innovative ways. Instructor (For SIS Undergraduate Curriculum) – 2 Positions

Responsibilities

1. Work in partnership with SIS faculty to design, deliver and enhance our BSc (Information Systems Management) curriculum
2. Intensive involvement with the day-to-day execution of courses and student interaction
3. Provide consultation and advice to students on course and project work
4. Take on initiatives for enhancing the content and delivery of specific courses
5. Take on responsibility for selected labs and software vendor relationships
6. Create knowledge assets from real-world IT scenarios and incorporate them into course examples and case studies
7. Evaluate, recommend and support the use of software for teaching

Requirements

1. At least a good Bachelor's Degree
2. A minimum 4 years of work experience with IT applications and solutioning in the industry or government
3. Preference for solutioning experience with enterprise applications such as Oracle e-business, PeopleSoft, SAP,SAS for Business Intelligence, etc.
4. Must have software application design and development experience using either Microsoft .NET or Java
5. A passion for learning new technologies
6. Good communication skills in both written and oral English
7. Passion for teaching and for guiding students
