iX Conference 2007 Academic Forum
Convergence, Collaboration & Creativity
Every June, the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation and its partners organise iX Conference, Asia's Premier IT Conference. In conjunction with this event, SMU's School of Information Systems hosts an Academic Forum that brings together some of the great international speakers that are in town to address the iX Conference, and makes this event available for free to students and faculty.
The theme of iX2007 Conference is "Convergence, Collaboration & Creativity ".
The Conference will address these new developments - corporate video streaming, enterprise podcasting, rich content delivery, features rich Applications on Corporate Desktop, New Personalised & Customised Features and new collaboration tools.
What consumers adopt will eventually impact the enterprise IT usage. As the enterprise ICT landscape continues to be driven by consumerisation and commoditisation, your perspective must shift from “Must I do it?” to: “How best to do it?”, “How do I get my Infrastructure ready for these applications?”, “What do I need to do to get there?” and “What does it cost to do it?
iX Conference 2007 will give enterprises the necessary perspectives, and provide opportunities to connect with vendors and enablers who can help them address these strategic issues.
