Synopsis

The speaker will briefly explain the Consumer Banking business and also the fundamentals of a successful Technology & Operations Management model. These fundamentals are most likely relevant to many industries. The speaker will then introduce some emerging trends in Technology development to illustrate the role of technology as an enabler in business. Finally, the speaker will conclude with his personal view on some core attributes and characteristics, that he believes to be critical factors for a  technology skilled individual to succeed in business.

About the Speaker

Mr Trevor Haeger is a graduate in Mathematics & Computing and has spent a 21 year career in the Banking Industry. He started as an application programmer and has held various roles in different banks leading to his current position as the Group CIO for Standard Chartered, Consumer Banking. He will share his career history and some of the major decision points he has made, and in particular some of the key learnings taken during the course of his career to date.
