Synopsis
The National Authentication Infrastructure (NAI) project aims to study the feasibility of a common national infrastructure for the identification of individuals, which will be based on secure open standards framework to be developed together with industry support for possible development and publication as a formal Singapore Standard.
The 4th NAI Briefing will update public and private sectors on the latest work done with respect to NAI. Updates include presentations and demonstrations on projects related to Digital Online Registration and Identification System (DORIS), Visitor Management System, Microsoft's Info Card, BioCryptography and new Grid Architecture for INBAC.
About the speakers
Andrew Hadinyoto
Mr Andrew Hadinyoto has been in the IT industry for more than 10 years and was involved in various projects ranging from managing Internet Service Provider network, providing IT training to developing software based on Open Source technologies.
Meng-Chow Kang
Mr Meng-Chow Kang has been a practicing information security professional for more than 18 years, with experiences spanning from technical to management in the various security and risk management roles that he has held in the Singapore government, major financial institutions, and security technology provider.
Kwok-Yan Lam
Professor Lam Kwok Yan is Founder of PrivyLink International Limited, a company which specializes in e-security technologies for homeland security and financial systems. Under his leadership, PrivyLink has achieved a number of major technology milestones. He led the company R&D to achieve being the first company in Asia with FIPS 140-1 Level 3 Certification by US NIST in 2001 and the fifth company worldwide with SETTM Mark of Certification Authority and Payment Gateway Technology in 2000.
Benjamin Tan
Mr. Tan is also chief network architect in SuperInternet and is actively involved in both the designing and implementing of the ISP network as well as those of the enterprise level clients.
MHA-SMU Students Presentations
The SMU students' presentations will showcase their SMU Pilot Project on Visitor Management System. They will also cover topics on DORIS coupled with demonstrations relating to DORIS and NAI.
