Abstract

In this talk, I present my recent thread of work in developing new and innovative mobile and pervasive applications. In particular, I will discuss the opportunities and challenges involved in integrating everything currently contained in a physical wallet, such as credit cards, cash, receipts etc., into your cellphone. After discussing the general problem and challenges, I will dive into interesting sub problems, such as authentication, mobile payment, information retrieval, etc., in this space. I will end the talk by describing some of the solutions, to tackle some of these sub problems that my research group has developed in the past few months.
